Install with one line of GoHighLevel custom JS

The whole install is one line of GoHighLevel custom JS pasted into your agency's White Label settings, plus one line of custom CSS if you restyle the login page. It takes about two minutes, once. After that, everything you publish from the editor goes live by itself.

How to install the GHL customizer

Short answer

Install by pasting one line of code into GoHighLevel (Agency Settings, Company, White Label, Custom JS), plus one CSS line for the login page. It takes about 2 minutes, once. Every later change you publish goes live instantly with no re-install.

Everything before cue four happens in the customizer, not in GoHighLevel, so you can take your time choosing a look without your clients seeing half-finished work.

The two fields, exactly

Both live in the same place in GoHighLevel. You need agency admin rights to see them.

  1. Open your customizer account and go to the install panel.
  2. Copy the JavaScript line.
  3. In GoHighLevel, switch to the agency view and open Settings, then Company.
  4. Open White Label and find the Custom JS box.
  5. Paste the line, save, and refresh any sub-account.
Field 2 · for the login page

GHL custom CSS

  1. Copy the CSS line from the same install panel.
  2. Paste it into the Custom CSS box under White Label.
  3. Save, sign out, and look at your new login page.
  4. Two-factor and password reset screens pick it up too.

Install questions

Where the line goes, what it changes, and how to take it out again.

Where do I paste the GoHighLevel custom JS?
In your agency view: Settings, Company, White Label (sometimes shown as the Whitelabel tab), then the Custom JS field. Paste the single line from your customizer account and save. If you also restyle the login page, the Custom CSS field gets one more line.
Why does the login page need a separate CSS line?
GoHighLevel loads custom JavaScript only after someone signs in, so the sign-in screen itself is styled with CSS. The editor gives you that one CSS line together with the JavaScript line.
Do I have to re-install after every change?
No. The line you paste points at your published design. Every later change you publish in the editor goes live instantly, with nothing to paste again.
How long does the install take?
About two minutes, once: copy the line, open White Label settings, paste, save, refresh. Most of the time you spend is choosing the design in the editor, not installing it.
Will the custom JS slow GoHighLevel down?
The script is small and loads alongside GoHighLevel. Only the modules you switch on are applied, so an account that uses just a theme and a login design loads just those.
How do I undo it?
Unpublish in the editor, roll back to an earlier version from version history, or simply delete the line from Custom JS. GoHighLevel returns to its stock look straight away because nothing is written into your account data.
What is privacy mode?
A button in the GoHighLevel header that blurs names, emails and phone numbers, so you can screen-share a sub-account in a live demo or webinar without exposing registrant data. It is included from Live Start.
What are in-app announcements?
Messages you show inside GoHighLevel to your team or clients, such as a launch-day reminder or a new feature note. Announcements and sub-account self-service come with Stage Pro and above.
What does white-labelling the editor mean?
On Main Event, the customizer editor itself shows your logo, colours and name, so clients who use self-service see your brand, not ours.
Do you ever need my GoHighLevel password?
We never ask for your GoHighLevel login or agency access. You install it yourself in your own settings; if you get stuck, support can talk you through it.
